  Using the JWs fear of apostates to your advantage.

  three years ago, i decided that i would no longer support the jw religion.

  having family in the "truth" as many of you know, can complicate the leaving process as the jws use the threat of df/da and loss of family as a weopon to try to control you.

  i decided to fight fire with fire.

  srealth: I agree with your approach. and did sometime the same. my dad is the only jw in the family. but iv'e been hereing the wt crap for 35 years. so i know it well. WELL ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO I HAD THE LUCK ,TO BE LIVING BACK WITH DAD AGAIN. HE was bering his wt zombie self and hitting me with wt's and jw speak. so i started reading and testing every wt i read. dad told me test anything i wanted the wt had nothing to hide..........well in less then 3 months i blew him out of the water. and i had next to no bible knowledge. but he resisted the fact of the wt. then i started to test some elders, that i know for years and i found they didn't know their ass from their elbow. well to make a long story short i shut next to all of them down. so they made dad get a court order to get me out of the house. since i was 39 at the time it was not so bad. point being made is that i know most the whole cong. and i hit them every time is see any of them. and tell the bro and sisters . i know elder x and xx and xxx told not to talk to me because even they can't answer any of my questions . i exposed your elders as lairs and i have exposed any jw in the cong that will speak to me as a lair for the wt. the bottom line is in my dad's cong when they see me they run the other way down the street. i caqll that respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good work stealth

  i just finished reading it and must say a one word description would be "disturbing".

  the book focuses of course on the characters and motivations of the first four presidents of the watchtower society.

  hi sf skally. i love your knowledge of the wts as you know . but some times your posts are not easy to follow>>just a thought. love john. family man if you want to follow the wt money trial i would start at freeminds then go from there all that i have posted on the wt and $$$$$$$$$$$ has been known for years . it's just a question of finding it , if i could recall everything i learned about the wt i would be an genious. good luck with your family... john

  ok the u.s gov't stopped the wt from selling books in feb 1991 fact. at the time it cost the wt any were from 3.2 cents to 3.7 cents for one mag paper ink, electric labor and all. fact. at the time the wt was selling the mag's for $.25 cents that is any were from 600-800% profit on each mag. at over 20 million printed a week . you are talking about .21 cents times 20 million . thatr is 4.2 million profit a week just on mags.4.2 x 52 weeks a year is 218.4 million a year. this is not hay. it took the wt till the year 2000 to stop selling the mag's in australia, again because of tax laws. in the last year i have spoken to many jw's here in new york that are from jamacia, peru, columbia, el salvador, and i ask them does the wt still sell the mag's in their countries ? and of the dozens i have spoke to they all say yes the wt STILL SELLS THE MAG'S IN THEIR COUNTRIES. so you figure it out what the wt is doing . they will sell were ever they can get away with it....john

  yes metatron: i was reading the march 1 wt since there was a thread on it last week, and since my dad says he don't care what the wt was teaching in 1914-1919. he knows what they teach now. i asked him if he wanted to go over the march 1 wt. since it is what they are teaching now. of course he panicked and hung up the phone. i find it amazing a jw can't stand behind anything they teach , when they have an informed person standing in front of them. just goes to show what kind of ppl they are trying to recruit. john

  I TOLD AN ELDERS WIFE OFF YESTERDAY!

  just to give you a bit of background: i was diagnosed with uterine cancer a couple of years ago and had to have a hysterectomy.

  naturally i got more support from all my worldly friends and co-workers than what i did from people at the hall, but am used to that by now.

  anyway, a few days ago, someone from the hall told me that sister x (one of the elders wives who is a nosey, back-stabbing bitch) had been saying things about me like "she shouldn't have had a hysterectomy because that's showing disrespect for the reproductive organs that jehovah gave us" and that i apparently was "lacking in faith" by not "leaving it in jehovah's hand" and didn't i read that article in the botchtower or asleep!

  good work mary; only you should have done it at the hall for all to see. yes once you stand up to them they wilt like a dead flower. a few months ago i went to my mothers apt building , and waiting for the elevator was 3 jw's and some other niehbors, i was teaseing the jw's about some false teachings, so one said oh john long time no see, i guess you finally got out of prison! some of the other niehbors looked on with shock. i ask the jw who told you i was in jail. she said it was common knowledge. when i got to moms apt. i told her what happened , mom dragged me up to the book study . banged on the door and started blasting some 20 jw's sitting there. mom even told the lady if she ever hears her or any other jw's lie about her kids again she will kick their ass. it was nice to see them humbled. they all sat there like zombies that they are. john

  the nation of france.

  they went thru the courts there - and lost.

  if i remember correctly the wt was one of 173 religions, or non profit org.s to be taxed in france, one reason is the fact that the wt would not tell the french gov't how they were spending the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ in charity work etc. just like the 7 jw's going to jail in 1918 the wt forgets to tell you about the 1000's of others put in prison between 1916-1918 for being against ww1 . the wt gives the idea that they were the only religous that hitler killed when in fact only like 200 jw's the nazi's killed. the wt never wants you to know that they were not the only ppl persecuted in human rights violations. john

  when we witness to witnesses, what is the most important thing we should talk to them about first - flawed doctrine, or watchtower misdeeds such as the un, child molestation, etc.?

  i think i've tried every idea i found on the web. only my dad is a jw. since my family likes to argue and fight. i stick what has worked in my family. i constantly pound my dad on the generation of 1914 teaching he , was so good at preaching for years. and that jesus choose the wt in 1919. this was his hope and his ministery. for the last 4 years i mostly pound away on what the wt was teaching from 1914-1918 that would make jesus choose the wt. i've have him in a state of panic every time i call .i have learned to answer 99% of his reasons that the wt are god's ppl. i have seen him laugh in peoples face when they questioned the wt and the generation of 1914 a 1000 times. how when i bring up this issue he hides in the bathroom or cries to my mom. look who is laughing now. and i tell him. just to look in his face shows he knows i busted the wts. and he can't deny it. so i use the brain washing idea i keep pounding him on what he know's he has bared false witness in the name of god. i just out do what dad did to me for 35 years. he's don't laugh no more when i'm around. and that is proof the wt is bunk. john

  skally; thank for that great info on how some of the countries in europe ,see right through the wt bull and tax the crap out of them. no wonder the wt joined the u.n. , to try to use the back door to get these gov't to let them extend the world wide fleesing work . and who said the french were dum. john

  JUST AS A SIDE NOTE; it's fact that the gov't totally shut down a large number of newspapers . labor, and religious publications as per the sedition act. but the wts was not shut totally down. so who was really persecuted? john

  i've ben following this thread for a few days. so i decidied to increase my knowledge on the sedition and espionage acts as per 1916-1919. it's seems that the bible students. got off quite easy , compared to others that were arrested and imprisioned by the 1000's just from research on the topic of sedition act i find dozens tortured aND killed by the gov't on this issue. IT IS SO SAD THAT THE WTS tries to make jw's think they were the only one's that suffered over the no war stance in 1916-`1919. i even found reference that there were many still in prison till 1933 when f.d. roosevelt let the rest of the opposiers to ww1 out of prison in 1933 . just punch in sedition act or espionage act 1917 into any search engine. and you will see the wts talks out of it's HAT... JOHN
